Friesland-Kabel signs long-term cable logistics framework agreement

In March 2024, Friesland-Kabel won a long-term cable logistics framework agreement for a top-class civil shipbuilding project, successfully beating off the competition.

Friesland-Kabel is one of Germany's market leaders in the sale of maritime ship cables and customized full-service logistics, relying on an extensive product portfolio, innovative solutions and immediate availability of goods for project management.

"Winning the framework agreement confirms that we are on the right track with the strategic realignment of Friesland-Kabel GmbH. In the civil marine cable segment, we have expanded our product range with cable solutions from the renowned manufacturer Prysmian and are now able to offer our customers a significantly extended range from stock. In addition, we have successfully established ourselves in the military shipbuilding segment by expanding our product portfolio with military cables according to the VG standard," says Malte Witowski, Managing Director of Friesland-Kabel GmbH, commenting on the company's positive development. The company is also continuing its expansion into foreign markets and will be present at Seatrade Cruise Global 2024 in Miami (USA), the world's largest cruise event.
