Market leader in Germany in the maritime ship cable segment
Friesland-Kabel GmbH was founded in 2007. Our company has become the market leader in Germany in the sale of maritime ship cables and in custom full-service logistics services. Our customers include renowned shipyards and electrical installation companies. Friesland-Kabel GmbH is certified by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) as an approved sales outlet for military cables that comply with the Bundeswehr VG standard 95218 and which are available from stock. In addition, our cables and wires for the on-/offshore, industrial and data technology sectors as well as standard cables are sold worldwide. Friesland-Kabel GmbH has been part of the Faber Group since 2019.

Friesland-Kabel GmbH has two company sites in Germany and maintains close ties with its parent company Klaus Faber AG as well.
Company headquarters in Norderstedt
The company headquarters in Norderstedt spans approximately 450 m² of office space where an experienced team handles all commercial processes. These include purchasing, sales, accounting, marketing, human resources and complaints management.
Wismar logistics centre
Our state-of-the-art logistics centre with office space in the Hanseatic City of Wismar opened in 2019. It houses two warehouse halls spanning an area of 10,000 m². Hall 1 is equipped with modern cable winding machines. This is where the cables and wires are cut, taped, labelled and assembled at the installation temperature according to customer-specific requirements. Hall 2 features 10 rows of high racks with space for around 2,500 pallets.
Around 5,000 articles for maritime ship cables (civil and military) and for cables and wires for on-/offshore applications, industry and data technology are always in stock at our logistics site and can be called off by our customers at any time. We deliver worldwide – just in time or time to time, depending on your needs. Alternatively, the goods can also be picked up from our logistics centre. We also offer individual logistics services such as cutting, taping and labelling or assembling cables and wires according to customer requirements and cable lists.
Corporate management of Friesland-Kabel GmbH
Malte Witowski, Managing Director
Malte Witowski was appointed to the board of Friesland-Kabel GmbH in 2020 and has been the Managing Director with sole power of representation since 2021. Prior to joining Friesland-Kabel, he spent 17 years at major Japanese corporations, holding various sales roles and heading up multinational teams. He also worked as a product manager for consumer products across Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands for two years during this period. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in International Management in Hamburg.
